Interior Design Ideas For Living Rooms

One of the most important elements of interior design and furnishings is the choice of colors. This is also one of the biggest challenges because the colors have a huge impact on creating a special mood. We can only color one detail and the whole room will be different. How many times have you been asked which color is your favorite – at least a few hundred times.

The point is, however, that no matter what our favorite color is, we will never surround ourselves alone. It’s similar to the interior – imagine a room where everything is one color, including you walking into clothes of the same color. See? Of course not. The basic arrangement of colors begins with the color wheel, that is, the spectrum of colors connected in a circle.

Warm Colors

The first pie chart was developed by Isaac Newton in 1666, and since then many researchers and artists have studied and designed many variations of the concept. The color wheel is a simple and neat tool that we can use to create a certain harmony by merging two or more colors into one. Many different colors can be displayed on a color wheel. But the most important thing is that they are arranged in a logical order. We have to recognize the difference between warm colors – red, orange, and yellow, and cool – blue, purple, and green.

Warm colors are generally more energetic and bring a feeling of liveliness and stimulation to the room. On the other hand, cool colors can be used to calm the room and bring a cozy feeling to the room. An analog color scheme refers to the use of three colors in a row from a color wheel. Usually, the two colors are the main colors with a third shade which is a mixture of the two colors and the secondary color. Pick one color to be dominant, one to support the predominant color, and a third light color for accents.
